6 months of my pandemic life went by and I haven't managed to publish any of the 12 draft posts I started (maybe this 13th will be the lucky one). I did however publish 5 YouTube videos, 6 Instagram posts and 10 Facebook posts - so you know where to find me for more updates.

But now it's time for a blog update as well. So let's see what I did in the meantime, except work (which I still love, maybe even more since working from home) and travel (as it was mostly internal, though the recent Istanbul visit would deserve a post on it's own):

I read... Educated by Tara Westover, Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, and Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple. Loved, loved, liked.

I watched... some catchy tv shows like The Great, Derry Girls, Plebs, See, Raised by Wolves and weird but nice movies like Extra Ordinary, Summer of 84, Vivarium and Mary and the Witch's Flower.

I listened to... musicals (Cats), audio theaters (Take, Ianke si Cadir), blinks (that's books audio summaries), sad music, african music, early 2000 music... Some songs I binge over these days are Alexis Jordan - Happiness, Chris Brown & Benny Benassi - Beautiful People and Sash! feat. Tina Cousins - Mysterious Times.

I visited.. got to start with the Ağa Hamamı, the old turkish baths, Darvas-La Roche house, the art nouveau museum in Oradea, and The Bucharest Museum of Maps. Also, got to give a mention to Harry Potter's London Airbnb online tour, as online experiences where the only cultural thing accessible when museums were closed.

I played... rummy (learned to play it online but managed offline also), played with the MyHeritage photo enhancement tool, and with a tool that turned everyone of my friends and family into anime characters...

But maybe the biggest update of all is that I finally purchased my own home. Wo hooooooo!
